Integral to the water treatment process, the main function of water pumps is either to get rid of excess water or to transfer water between two points. However, in the treatment process of waste water, equipment needs to be able to withstand the viscosity of sludges and varying levels of acidity and alkalinity. It is also necessary to comply with regulatory frameworks to ensure water quality meets the required standards and that environmental regulations are adhered to at all times.
