Introduction to Vibration Analysis
Duration: 2 days

Vibration is inherent in operational rotating machinery, and analysing vibration is an effective method for identifying faults such as unbalance, misalignment and bearing wear. This course provides an overview of vibration theory, vibration sources and what needs to be measured, then goes into practical aspects of measurement and recording. It also explains what the data means and how it can be interpreted to identify and respond to issues.

Introduction to Thermal Imaging
Duration: 1 day

Thermography, or thermal imaging, can identify anomalies caused by worn components, misalignment and lubrication issues. This introductory course explains the theory of infrared thermography and how thermal energy creates a thermogram. The session includes demonstrations and hands-on training with infrared cameras, plus guidance on analysing data, creating reports and assessing machinery condition.

Introduction to Electrical & Industrial Thermography
Duration: 2 days

This 2 day course begins with the fundamentals of thermography, covering the same core material as the Introduction to Thermal Imaging, including emissivity, heat transfer and practical camera use.
It then goes deeper into inspecting electrical and industrial equipment, focusing on material properties and typical faults. Case studies are used to demonstrate real-world applications.

Introduction to Lubrication Management
Duration: 1 day

Adequate lubrication increases asset reliability. This course provides a practical foundation in Reliability Centred Lubrication. It covers lubrication theory, how to incorporate lubrication into a basic maintenance plan, different lubricant types and selection, plus storage, management and condition control of oils and lubricants.

Introduction to Gas Find
Duration: 1 day

Optical gas imaging (OGI) detects gas leaks quickly so repairs can be prioritised to maintain safety.
This course explains OGI theory, the types of gases detectable and key safety considerations. It includes practical training on camera set up and operation, with examples showing how to adjust for different environmental conditions to achieve optimal results.

Introduction to Condition Based Maintenance
Duration: 1 day

A strong condition monitoring programme helps ensure equipment runs smoothly and wear is detected early.
This course follows ISO 17359 guidelines, covering the importance of condition monitoring and how it supports maintenance planning. It includes an introduction to vibration analysis, thermal imaging, lubrication management and ultrasound, plus the key steps required to implement an effective monitoring strategy across different asset types.

Introduction to Rotor Dynamics
Duration: 2 days

Rotor dynamics in turbo machinery is complex, and understanding how it relates to vibration analysis is vital for reliability of critical equipment. This basic level course covers turbomachinery behaviour, rotor activity, recording data, taking measurements and interpreting rotor dynamic reports. It also examines causes and consequences of rotor-related vibration and how vibration is measured and analysed. A hands-on component using a rotor dynamics kit helps attendees understand normal rotor behaviour and troubleshoot common failures.
